Never Give In To Fear by Marti MacGibbon

Never Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up From Rock BottomNever Give in to Fear: Laughing All the Way Up From Rock Bottom by Marti MacGibbon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Which characters do you particularly admire or dislike? I have never meet Evan, but I have a resounding dislike for his person. I do not know if he is in recovery but after reading he robbed his family at gun-point totally turned me off.

What were the main themes of the book? How well did the author execute these themes? Drugs, alcohol, and a wild lifestyle. With this being a memoir, the author just related her memories. Yes, it felt like a wild ride, however, this ride is something everyone should read

Describe 2 different settings or locations. Los Angeles and Michigan.

Were you able to connect with the main character and why? Marti was easy to connect with. Being a female I have not experience any remotely close to the story. However, I can picture so many females in the same position as Marti.

Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author.
